It supports a wide range of protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP, REST, FTP, JDBC, LDAP, and JMS, allowing users to simulate heavy loads and analyze system behavior. It includes a full-featured Test IDE, CLI mode, dynamic HTML reporting, and extensive plugin support.
JMeter simulates concurrent user requests at the protocol level across multiple threads, records and replays test plans, and generates detailed performance reports.
