Archive of Our Own (AO3) is a non-profit, fan-run platform for hosting and sharing transformative fanworks across more than 78,000 fandoms. Users can publish original fanfiction and other creative works, follow their favorite authors, and participate in community challenges. The platform is operated by the Organization for Transformative Works and is free to use with an account obtained via an invite queue.
Users obtain a free account through an automated invite queue and can then publish, read, bookmark, and follow fanworks across thousands of fandoms.
