Atlas Device SDKs (Realm)
On-device database and sync SDKs for mobile and edge apps
Atlas Device SDKs (formerly Realm) provided an on-device database and Atlas Device Sync for mobile and cross-platform applications. As of September 2024, the SDKs have been deprecated, with end-of-life set for September 30, 2025. The on-device database component will continue as an open-source project, while Atlas Device Sync and related App Services features are being discontinued.
The SDK provides an embedded on-device database along with Atlas Device Sync to replicate data between the device and MongoDB Atlas in the cloud.
