Better Design is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that gives AI coding tools access to production-ready design systems, enabling them to generate shadcn-compatible React components styled to match well-known brands like Linear, Airbnb, Apple, and Vercel. It provides 31 design systems with 80+ components each, along with design tokens, UX principles, and styles ready to scaffold into a codebase. Developers install it with a single command and interact with it through their preferred AI coding assistant.
An MCP server is installed into the developer's AI tool (e.g., Claude), which then loads design system guidelines and tokens so the AI can generate branded, production-ready React components.
