Claude in Chrome is a browser extension by Anthropic that lets the Claude AI assistant operate directly within a Chrome side panel, reading and interacting with web pages on the user's behalf. It supports multi-tab management, scheduled tasks, workflow recording, and integration with Claude Desktop and Claude Code. The extension is available in beta to paid plan subscribers across Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise tiers.
The Chrome extension installs a side panel that gives Claude permission to read pages, click buttons, navigate tabs, and run scheduled tasks while the user browses normally.
