/ About /

dev-browser is a CLI tool and AI agent skill that enables browser automation via sandboxed JavaScript scripts using the Playwright API. It allows AI agents (like Claude) to control browsers—navigating pages, clicking, filling forms, and taking screenshots—with scripts executed in a secure QuickJS WASM sandbox. It supports connecting to an existing Chrome instance or launching a fresh Chromium headlessly.

/ How it works /

Users install the npm package and run scripts via the CLI; scripts execute inside a sandboxed QuickJS WASM environment with full Playwright API access, optionally connecting to a running Chrome instance or launching Chromium headlessly.
