Healthchecks.io is a cron job and scheduled task monitoring service that alerts you when background jobs fail to run on time. Users configure checks with period and grace time parameters, then ping a unique URL from their scripts to signal successful completion. The service supports a wide range of notification integrations including email, SMS, Slack, PagerDuty, and more.
Each monitored job pings a unique Healthchecks.io URL on completion; if the ping is not received within the configured period plus grace time, an alert is sent via the user's chosen notification channels.
