Manuscripts
A quieter way to keep track of your papers.

Manuscripts is a Mac app designed for academic researchers to manage the full lifecycle of their papers — from drafting and submission to revision and publication. Each manuscript gets its own record with version history, author details, journal checklists, and deadline tracking, all stored locally on the user's machine. It includes AI-powered reviewer comment parsing and journal requirements lookup, with no subscription or cloud dependency.
Each paper gets a dedicated record with tabs for overview, authors, submissions, and versions; users track submission stages, store collaborator details, manage checklists per journal, and can upload decision letters for AI-powered reviewer task extraction.
