Owncast
Free and open source live video and web chat server

Owncast is a self-hosted, open-source live streaming platform that lets creators run their own video streaming server with built-in web chat. It integrates with popular broadcasting software like OBS and supports ActivityPub/Fediverse federation, allowing streams to be followed and shared on Mastodon and similar platforms. Users retain full ownership and control over their content and community.
Users point existing broadcasting software (e.g. OBS) at their own Owncast server instance, which handles video delivery, web chat, and Fediverse federation
Content creators and streamers who want full ownership and control over their live streaming infrastructure
