p-Hacker
Hacker News topic and keyword analysis — surf the nerd hive mind

p-Hacker is a Hacker News trend analysis tool that surfaces statistically unusual topic clusters by comparing recent mention volume against a rolling baseline. It groups related discussions into named topic clusters and ranks them by how significantly their frequency deviates from the norm. The tool is designed to help users quickly identify what subjects are gaining unusual traction in the Hacker News community.
The tool compares recent item mention counts for topic clusters against a 28-day (or 90-day) baseline and surfaces those with statistically significant deviations measured in standard deviations.
