About

Paletton is a web-based color scheme designer that uses classical color theory and the RYB color wheel to help users build harmonious palettes of one to four hues. It supports multiple color models, vision simulation filters for accessibility testing, and palette export in formats like CSS, HTML, Photoshop ACO, and more. Originally launched in 2002 as Color Scheme Designer, it has served nearly 20 million visitors.

Problem

Designers struggle to create visually harmonious color combinations that also meet accessibility standards.

For

Professional designers and hobbyists working on web, UI, interior, or fashion design

How it works

Users select a base color on an interactive color wheel, choose a harmony model (monochromatic, triad, tetrad, etc.), and the tool generates a palette with export options and vision-simulation previews.
