PeerDB is a data replication tool that syncs data from PostgreSQL to data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, ClickHouse), queues (Kafka, EventHubs), and storage systems. It leverages Postgres-native optimizations to achieve significantly faster transfer speeds and lower latency than competing tools like Airbyte and Fivetran. It is available as a managed cloud service or as open-source software.
PeerDB uses Postgres replication slots and native protocol optimizations to perform change data capture and initial load via transaction snapshotting and CTID scans.
