Perkeep (formerly Camlistore) is an open-source set of formats, protocols, and software for storing, searching, sharing, and synchronizing personal data. It is designed to give users full control over their data with strong privacy defaults and no single point of failure. It supports everything from small files to large videos, accessible via browser, phone, or FUSE filesystem.
Users run a Perkeep server that stores blobs of data using open protocols, with clients connecting securely to search, sync, and access data across devices.
