Quarto
An open source technical publishing system for beautiful documents

Quarto is an open-source, multi-language technical publishing system that lets users create articles, websites, blogs, books, and presentations using Python, R, Julia, and JavaScript. It builds on R Markdown concepts and integrates with tools like Jupyter, VS Code, and RStudio to produce reproducible, high-quality output in formats such as HTML, PDF, Word, and ePub. It supports interactive data exploration via Observable JS, Jupyter Widgets, and Shiny.
Users author documents in plain-text markdown or Jupyter notebooks with embedded code, and Quarto renders them to multiple output formats using engines like knitr, Jupyter, and QuartoNotebookRunner.
Data scientists, researchers, and technical writers working with Python, R, Julia, or JavaScript
