About

Qubes OS is a free, open-source, security-focused operating system that uses the Xen hypervisor to isolate different parts of a user's digital life into separate virtual machines. It supports multiple operating systems simultaneously, including various Linux distributions and Windows, enabling strong compartmentalization. It also integrates Whonix for anonymous Tor-based internet browsing.

Problem

Users need to securely separate and isolate different digital activities to prevent a single compromise from affecting their entire system.

For

Security-conscious individuals, journalists, and engineers handling sensitive workloads

How it works

Qubes OS runs each application or workspace in a separate Xen-based virtual machine, so that even if one compartment is compromised, others remain protected.

Business model
