Rubberhose
The shortest distance between inspiration and reality is a bendy line

Rubberhose is an After Effects plugin for character rigging and animation that simplifies the creation of flexible, bendy limb-based character rigs. It offers style presets, hose parenting, stretch bones, and a non-linear workflow that lets animators adjust designs without losing keyframes. Now on version 3, it is a one-time purchase aimed at motion designers and character animators of all skill levels.
Users build character rigs by clicking or drawing paths to create bendy hoses, then style and connect art layers using hose parenting and stretch bones within After Effects.
