/ About /

UrBackup is an open-source client/server backup system that performs both file and image backups on Windows and Linux without interrupting running processes. It continuously monitors selected folders for changes, enabling fast incremental backups, and offers restoration via a web interface, client application, Windows Explorer, or bootable USB for bare metal recovery. Over 21,000 server instances are actively running the software.

/ How it works /

Users install the UrBackup server and client software; the server automatically discovers clients on the local network and performs scheduled file and image backups, which can be restored via a web interface or bootable USB.

/ Who it's for /
